To Configure CAD Converter Settings for a CIS/2 Data Source

  1. Double-click CSST.mdb (C:\ConstructSimData\Projects\<ProjectName>\CSST) to open CSST-Admin.
  2. In CSST-Admin, expand CSST Set-Up. Double-click Configure Data Processing Converters and in the VCM Data Processing Configuration window, click CAD Converter Settings.
  3. In the CAD DataSources dialog, click Add DataSource to create a new datasource for the project.
  4. In the New Data Source dialog, enter a project name and select CIS/2 (stp) from the drop-down menu.
  5. In the Input section, select File to process one file or select Folder to process a whole directory.
  6. Click Browse and in the Open dialog, navigate to the ProjectData folder, select the input file or directory and click Open.
  7. Click Configure. In the CIS/2 Converter Configuration Options dialog, the input units can be changed using the drop-down menu under Data Detail Options. Checking the Aggregate Part Geometries into Assemblies box groups the structural parts into assemblies.
  8. Click OK to apply the configuration options. Click Add to add the new data source. Click Done to exit the CAD Adapter Configuration dialog.
